The Arts at Ascension is an artistic collaboration created to advance all its members’ missions of serving the community through the performance of great music, providing a welcoming environment (with great acoustics!) for its enjoyment, and increased public awareness.
Ascension Lutheran Church seeks to become a center for the arts in the community, as an expression of its core values:

Founded in 1979 by Mary Ann Dutton, The Arizona Masterworks Chorale is dedicated to presenting innovative and enjoyable concerts for the community by performing the finest in classical and contemporary choral music under Music Director Scott Youngs. The Chorale welcomes experienced singers seeking to be part of a shared artistic experience.

WOA was founded in 2016 by Artistic Director Livia Gho to provide musical opportunities to empower women musicians and to benefit the greater community. As the second all-women’s orchestra in the US (after Cleveland’s Women’s Orchestra), we look to bring hope and opportunity to all aspiring female musicians in the community.
The orchestra welcomes members from all walks of life who are looking to play in a musically stimulating yet supportive environment.
